Samantha describes their wedding as “simple and classic elegance, with a touch of southern charm” and we couldn’t agree more! Samantha is ever so chic in what may be one of our favorite bridal looks ever: a structured Amsale gown (with pockets!) and a classic chignon styled by Be Pretty. Samantha and Max were married on a sparkling early fall day at the historical Duke Mansion in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now the buffet does not include a drink, so that is going to cost extra at a suggested price of around $2.39 for a Regular Cup, $2.69 for a Large Cup and $1.10 for a Kids Cup.Īnd if you look at the menu, they also offer a special item that is not included in the buffet which is the chicken wings. But what most people, including me, are here for is the All-You-Can-Eat Pizza Buffet.Īnd as of the time of this writing, the current prices for a Cici’s Pizza Buffet is being listed as $5.49 for a Kids Buffet and $7.99 for an Adult Buffet. Just like before, they offer Carry-out orders where you can order any pizza you want or even make a custom pizza too. Going into Cici’s Pizza, I saw the menu in front of me hanging on the wall. This is a good sign as it still shows that Cici’s Pizza is still getting customers and attracting business.Īnyways, I’m here to enjoy the experience so lets go in and eat! How Much Does Cici’s Pizza Buffet Cost? And I can also see a bunch of people inside eating as their windows are seethrough. Meaning quite a lot of people are actually at Cici’s Pizza enjoying their meal. Surprisingly enough, when I parked my car, I saw that the parking lot was actually almost full with cars. So I got in my car and drove to the nearest location that I could find which was about a 5 minute drive.Īnd there it was, in all its glory, Cici’s Pizza. In fact, there is like 3 Cici’s Pizza locations all around me which makes it fairly easy to drive to. So lets go to Cici’s Pizza and do a review on the Cici’s Pizza Buffet and see how it goes~ Heading To Cici’s Pizzaįortunately for me, Cici’s Pizza is actually pretty close to my house. I want to see if Cici’s Pizza is still worth visiting or not in this day and age. I am going to go back to Cici’s Pizza and dine in just like a regular customer and see just how things are, and if anything is particularly different from before. Which is why, I am very curious as to see what happened throughout the years. That doesn’t mean Cici’s Pizza has all of a sudden gone downhill, but it definitely does mean somethings have changed. However, as the years passed things started to change and more and more people have started to go elsewhere for their buffet needs. After all, where else can you get endless pizza, pasta, salad and desserts? And just like many others, this has been a favorite spot to visit for me and my family. When I told him he was being quite rude, he launched into a rant. I said we hadn't even finished eating but he once again put his hand up as though to shut the conversation down. When I asked the waiter for more chopsticks (as he hadn't brought them over) - he literally shoved the bill in my face and said I needed to pay the bill now. We were removed from our table (along with our remaining dish) and placed in the foyer/bar area. The fact that we paid over £130 for two people (with only one cocktail each) and still went for a McDonald's afterwards says something. The food portions were tiny as were the drinks. These men do not enjoy being in the service industry clearly. When I said that's not ours, he held his hand up and said OK OK (as in calm down). When we told him we were still waiting on one more dish, he said we had been given all of them, and counted the dishes including the dirty one in his hand that he brought over from the next table. He then told us he was bringing over the bill before we had finished. He was clearing away plates with food on without asking, and whilst we were still eating from them. And that was only the waiter taking our drinks order! Rude male wait staff who didn't like any questions about the cocktail or food menus, clearly. I went for an early dinner with a girlfriend and what a let down. If I could give them half a star I would. Overall, a lovely, albeit expensive experience coming to £100+ without drinks and choosing only small dishes. The samba salad was lovely and fresh, well presented and light to eat. Presentation was key here, and especially for the bun, it fell extremely short in comparison to the other meals. Other members of the party, including one who ordered a beef bun style food which was served on a I Beam/RSJ who was thoughoughly underwhelmed by their “lunch” which resembled a poorly put together hot dog. Photo was taken after I’d already eaten a roll!! The fresh wasabi and ginger on the dishes was beautiful and the soy dipping sauce was beautifully flavoured. The pear style was completely new to me and really enjoyed it. I chose the mixed maki and nigiri dish at £15 and some edamame beans to share. They provided their own separate vegan menu which I. The actually restaurant is well decorated up a flight of stairs and has a very comfortable and stylish atmosphere. I came here in a group of 6 for lunch and we all enjoyed our light lunches. Would we go again? Probably yes, when we can get in without difficulties, because couldn't get bothered to do the reservation thing again. When you're there, take the time to have a drink in the bar and enjoy the fabulous magic orange tree on the terrace. So the 'trick' is to order one thing, enjoy it, order another, enjoy it, etcetera. We had a delicious sparkling cold saké (29 GBP) and a very fine regular saké.īesides the - too ? - high prices (total of our bill was 170 GBP), we felt a bit rushed and found that this place is about rotation. The El Topo and Neotokyo sushi rolls were very nice, although not exceptionally different from any other high end sushi place. We loved the (expensive) lobster taco, the (very nicely presented) Samba salad, the vegetable tempura, the plantain chips (with a great sauce). The menu is quite elaborate and has a great choice of dishes. We had a great waitress, who was very friendly and helpful. The views are spectacular, the setting is great and the atmosphere is contemporary. The place is highly demanded and due to the excitement around this place, there is a. The clover plant, however, is haunted by some dark beings, too. As soon as the clovers touched her head, she could see hundreds of fairies, elves, and other tiny beings surrounding her. She did so to relieve the pressure from the heavy bucket full of milk that she had to head-carry back home. There is a Cornish legend of a young milkmaid who once placed a handful of grass and a four-leaf clover on her head. It was believed that four-leaf clovers grew only in places visited by the fairies, the elves, and the dwarfs. In the Wikka tradition, finding a four-leaf clover was thought to bring good luck and enhance one’s mental and psychic powers. Today, many clover species are considered invasive exactly because of this property of ‘spontaneously appearing’ (spreading) in new areas.
